Announcing the latest development in pad technology: hand-made ARCS pads
After many years of research and development ARCS is now producing its own pad system in house.
Offering quieter pad closure and longer life, these new pads use a new combination of materials that have evolved over many years to provide a near silent pad. In addition they offer a warmer and darker sound. They are available with or without reflectors giving further choice in sound colour.
Each pad is made specifically for your instrument offering a true customised service. The cost of a clarinet overhaul with the ARCS pad system is £389 or £399 with the addition of the reflectors, and carries a three year guarantee for peace of mind. We believe these pads may well last considerably longer than this, and therefore represent a wise investment, reducing the need for an overhaul.
ARCS is also now offering an interim service for just £75, which will include a complete strip down, clean and oil, plus spring adjustment and the replacement of up to three pads.
