CAROLINE SMITH accompanist

Caroline Smith is one of Liverpool’s finest accompanists, specialising in choral and vocal repertoire. Caroline studied music at the Birmingham Conservatoire and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Whilst working as an accompanist in London, Caroline also participated in an extensive recital tour of the Middle East and Europe with Swan Hellenic Cruises.

Since 2004 Caroline has worked as official accompanist for the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir and since September 2009, assistant accompanist for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir. She has worked with various international conductors, such as Vasily Petrenko, Thomas Sanderling and Prof Ian Tracy.

Caroline performs at the annual Liverpool Philharmonic Christmas Carol Concerts and the International Eisteddfod Festival. In 2010 Caroline will perform with the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir at the Liverpool Echo Arena.
